Day of National Unity

The 4 June is the day on which the Hungarians commemorate the signing of the Treaty of Trianon. Under protest, Hungary signed a peace agreement on 4 June 1920 which signified allocation of territory for the Kingdom of Hungary after World War I. Besides the loss of territory, the contract also included an article on war guilt, reparation payment and arms limitation. Since 2010 it is celebrated as Day of National Unity in Hungary.
