Day of the Constitution
In Puerto Rico, the Constitution Day celebrates the landing of the American troops in 1898 by which the island belongs to the USA. On the other hand it commemorates the ratification of their own constitution. With this signing it was possible for the inhabitants to elect an own government in Puerto Rico. On the occasion of that, many parades and big events take place annually.
