On 19 June the Hungarians commemorate the executed participants of the riot against the communist party and the soviet occupying power in 1956. Revolutionists tried to overthrow the government and resign from the Warsaw Pact. The riot has been crushed by the Soviet army. After a show trial, every responsible person and numerous participants have been executed on 19 June 1958. This commemoration day is celebrated since 2001.
