The Chur carnival is considered an insider tip and an alternative to the big events in Basel or Lucerne. The big carnival parade takes place on Saturday, the children's parade on Sunday. On Monday, the "Schnitzelbankoobig" occurs and a small parade on Wednesday morning to end the festivities.
