The Monday after Easter is the extension of the Easter Sunday beforehand. In some southern German countries, there are traditional Easter Monday processions. Especially in English-speaking countries there is the tradition of "easter egg races" for children, whereby they have to race over the lawn with an egg on a long spoon. The most famous one Is probably the "Easter Egg Roll" which is held on the lawn of the White House.
